Taste
We roast our Alpine Roast significantly longer under higher temperatures. This brings positive roasted aromas to the fore, while the acidity is greatly reduced. Classically Italian in taste, the blend scores with notes of dark chocolate and almond. Our fine Robusta from India gives the Alpine roast a wonderful crema and refines it with a hint of caramel and marzipan - a dream come true in your coffee cup.
No flavors added
Dark chocolate oolade, almond and a hint of caramel in the coffee? Yes, and all naturally! More than 800 natural flavors can be found in coffee, without any additives. They are created by a wide variety of factors, such as the type of coffee, the conditions under which it is grown, its processing and roasting, and finally, you can also influence the variety of aromas in your coffee by the way it is prepared.
Origin
The alpine roasting family
Since this year also our all-rounder, the Alpine roast, completely traceable back to the farm.
Because we were so excited about the green coffees, we decided to create the Alpine Roast Family, where you can try different combinations of the new beans.
Our "Kaffee für dei Hütt'n" becomes the head of the family and gets the highly deserved title "Das Original".
The original is and remains our classic roast with the taste you love so much, The other family members differ in bean composition and roasting curve and thus also in taste.

Hand roasted in Tyrol
With special care, roasting master Valentin and his team take care of the selection of green coffees and their roasting by hand. Lebenshilfe Tirol actively assists us with the packaging of the coffee. In the 15kg drum roaster, the beans are gently browned to the optimum degree using the latest roasting software from Cropster, allowing them to develop their full aroma.
In our show roastery in Wattens in Tyrol, everyone is welcome to look over their shoulder as they roast, or to taste their way through the range to find the perfect coffee for home.

Preparation methods differ in the degree of grinding.
This plays a very big role for the taste. We want our coffee to taste perfect. Therefore, you can choose the grind accordingly.
Coffee grinder owners (congratulations!) or fully automatic machine owners please choose "whole bean"!
If you choose ground for portafilter , feel free to use the comment function during the order and specify your machine. Even better, of course, is to grind it yourself. Electric and hand grinders can be found at the accessories.
